23rd November 2007 — 27th January 2008
At the time of writing, the show's not open yet, so I can only tell you what I know, which is what the press release says; "Seeing is Believing explores photography's strong relationship to the non-rational, the unknown and the ethereal. It brings together vintage photographs from the archive of the Harry Price Library of Magical Literature, with work by seven international artists who share a fascination for the unexplained." By the time of reading, the work will be up and the exhibition open to the public... so you can judge for yourself but it promises to be a real mixed bag- combining the oft grotesque portrait photographs of Roger Ballan with odd-romanticism of Ben Judd, and the light fluidity of Florencia Durante, whose work promises to be a highlight.
