3rd March 2007 — 12th May 2007
Leave plenty of time to see this large show of 20 artists' animated films created from drawings, which contains many beautiful works. Mostly they plunge you back into childhood. They depict a violent world with no rules where everything is topsy-turvy. Children are pitted against devouring adults who literally want to eat them. Dream logic, metamorphosis, amorality and convulsive beauty prevail. Sexuality and innocence battle in frightening and seductive fantasies. My favourites were works by Francis Alys, William Kentridge, David Shrigley, Kara Walker and Naouki Tsuji.
