Every year Limehouse Town Hall hosts an evening of music and art, forcing an uneasy truce between the two. The pretentious are brought down a peg or two and the slumming are able to bask in the edgy realism of the venue and area. Philistines and Luddites can broaden their viewpoint or scoff wretchedly with their heathen mates. This year the theme that will be mostly ignored is duality and the evening might include a ukulele recital from a local school, Mark Leckey doing a lecture, films, performance, art works and a gay 'oy' band.
